HTC is preparing to introduce its flagship smartphone for 2013. The Taiwanese company will announce a new mobile phone on February 19th. Canon C300 firmware update 1.0.8.1.00 available for download now
Canon is actively working on improving its cameras. The Japanese manufacturer has released a firmware update for its C300 camcorder. Firmware version 1.0.8.1.00 can be downloaded now by Mac OS X and Windows PC users, in order to fix several issues found in the C300 / C300PL EOS cinema camera.
Canon’s new cinema camera could be the cheaper EOS C50
Canon’s EOS cinema camera, the C100, is considered a pretty good camcorder. However, many consumers believe it is too expensive. The Japanese company has probably listened to its customers, therefore it may be on the verge of releasing a cheaper cinema camera, called C50, at the National Association of Broadcasters 2013 event.

DxOMark is considered by many as the industry standard test for camera and lens performance. The engineers at DxO Labs took the Canon EF 35mm f/2 IS USM lens for a spin and tested the wide-angle prime’s sharpness.
