Nikon has expanded its 1 Nikkor lens lineup with a new glass: the 32mm f/1.2 prime. This lens is the fastest 1 Nikkor optic ever released and it will become available in Black and Silver colors. It is the first of its kind to pack a Nano Crystal Coat, Silent Wave Motor, and manual focus ring, which should be useful for portrait photographers.

Carl Zeiss has re-introduced its 12mm f/2.8 and 32mm f/1.8 lenses for Sony NEX E-mount and Fujifilm X-mount cameras. The pair of optics for mirrorless shooters has been called “Touit” and it will become available in the near future. The two products have also been put up for pre-order at select retailers in the United States and Europe.

Canon EF 200-400mm f/4L IS 1.4x lens release date is May 14
Canon is rumored to announce a lot of lenses in 2013. Recently, it has been said that five new optics will become official this year. However, a new list, which consists of three products, has surfaced. Only one is found on both lists, the 100-400mm replacement, which will be joined by the EF 200-400 f/4L IS 1.4x and EF 800mm f/5.6L IS II lenses.
Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 lens to become available for Sony A-Mount cameras, too
When Sigma unveiled the fast 18-35mm f/1.8 DC HSM Art zoom lens, the company revealed that the optic will be available only for APS-C DSLR cameras from companies such as Canon, Nikon, and Sigma, leaving out Sony’s A-mount shooters. Sigma 135mm f/1.8 DG OS Art lens to be announced in 2013
Sigma will keep itself busy in 2013, as the Japanese manufacturer is rumored to announce at least two new lenses by the end of the year. The “Art” lens series may be completed by the 135mm f/1.8 DG OS and the 24mm f/1.4 DG lenses sometime in the following months, while an update for the 50mm f/1.4 lens is also in sight.
