Nikon has finally launched the 1 Nikkor 32mm f/1.2 lens, which represents the fastest optic ever released for the “1” range or mirrorless cameras.

Additionally, its aperture is not so fast when considering the 35mm status. From f/1.2, the aperture will slow down to f/3.2, which is still quite good for taking portrait images.

Nikon says that the 1 Nikkor 32mm f/1.2 lens is the first of its kind to include a Silent Wave Motor, Nano Crystal Coat, and a manual focus ring, which allows photographers to switch between auto and manual focus.

The Nikon 32mm f/1.2 lens comes packed with a so-called Close-Range Correction System, which cuts down chromatic aberrations, while supplying higher image quality and improved textures.
The Nikon 1 Nikkor 32mm f/1.2 lens release date is June 2013. The optic will be offered in Black and Silver colors for a price of $899.95.
Amazon has already started listing the Black and Silver versions for a price of $896.95. The popular retailer says that the item’s shipping date is expected to be June 13, which means that the lens is only one month away from your doorstep.
