Just when many people were thinking that there will be no more Canon 70D rumors, the gossip talk is back, as the company is said to hold a big product launch event sometime in the next six to eight weeks. The event might be all about the rumored big megapixel camera, but all evidence points to the new EOS 70D DSLR.
DxO FilmPack 4.0.2 update released with Lightroom 5 support
DxO FilmPack 4 works as a standalone application on Windows and Mac OS X PCs, but it can be also integrated as a plugin in Lightroom and Photoshop. DxO Labs has officially released the DxO FilmPack 4.0.2 update, in order to make its program fully compatible with the recently-introduced Adobe Lightroom 5.
Nikon D7100 firmware update 1.01 now available for download
There are no perfect devices, nor firmware versions, and this fact includes the Nikon D7100, as well. The DSLR has been released earlier in 2013, but photographers have been affected by some annoying bugs ever since its release. Anyway, Nikon is now offering firmware update 1.01 to correct some of the bugs.
Fujifilm X-Pro1 and X-E1 firmware updates released for download
Do you own a Fujifilm X-Pro1 or X-E1? Are you looking to purchase one of the new XF 27mm f/2.8 and XC 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS lenses? Then you will need to install the firmware version 2.05 and version 1.06 respectively. Fuji has pushed these updates to support the new lenses and improve one-handed camera operation.
Fujifilm unveils Fujinon XF 27mm f/2.8 lens
Fujifilm has chosen June 25 to be one of its busiest days of recent times as, after the X-M1 camera and XC 16-50mm lens announcements, the Fujinon XF 27mm f/2.8 pancake lens has also become official. This new optic has been designed for Fuji’s X-mount cameras and it should improve your portrait photography soon.
Fujifilm X-M1 entry-level X-Trans camera officially announced
Fujifilm has answered the prayers of its fans by launching an entry-level mirrorless camera with an APS-C X-Trans CMOS image sensor, which can be found in the more expensive X-Pro1 and X-E1. The camera has been revealed alongside a Fujinon 16-50mm lens, both of them being scheduled to be released in late July.
Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L II lens rumored to be in the works
Canon may be on the verge of launching a new EF 35mm f/1.4L USM wide-angle lens, as the Japanese company is feeling the hot breath of the Sigma 35mm f/1.4 DG lens on its neck. Despite being in testing, the new EF 35mm f/1.4L II optic might not come this year, as Canon is delaying the launch of its big megapixel camera.
Sony i1 Honami specs include interchangeable lens support
Sony is rumored to announce a Mobile Cybershot smartphone, which might be called i1 Honami, on June 27. The device is coming alongside the RX100 MKII and the RX1-R, as well as a new JPEG engine. Canon EOS M firmware update release date is June 27
Canon has attracted few EOS M customers because the mirrorless camera did not offer too many enticing features. Additionally, the device’s autofocus speed is very slow and there are few lenses available for the M-mount. Well, a firmware update is officially coming on June 27 and it will definitely fix the focusing speed issues.
Panasonic GH3 firmware update to be released in early July
Panasonic has revealed that the Lumix GH3 will be upgradeable to a new firmware soon. The Micro Four Thirds system will get several new features, including a Silent Mode and Low Light AF support, as well as having an WiFi bug fixed. The Panasonic GH3 firmware update will become available for download in early July.

NASA creates 1.3-gigapixel Mars panorama, thanks to Curiosity
Panoramas are great and NASA knows this, so its researchers have decided to compile a gigapixel shot of Mars by stitching together about 900 RAW images. All photos have been sent from the Red Planet by the Curiosity rover, which has captured them in the fall of 2012, while being in the “Rocknest” area.
Wonderful 360-degree panorama of Dubai from Burj Khalifa’s top
Don’t you simply love those panoramas made to look like tiny planets? They are wonderful and they look better when they are captured from impressive heights. Well, the one which depicts a 360-degree view of Dubai tops them all, as it has been captured from the pinnacle of the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa.

Several photos of the alleged device have appeared on the web, depicting a Fujifilm X-M1, along with a brand new Fujinon XF 16-50mm f/3.5-5.6 OIS zoom lens, while the novel XF 27mm f/2.8 pancake optic showed up online, too.
Voigtländer Nokton 42.5mm f/0.95 lens release date and price revealed
Earlier this year, Voigtländer surprised the world with another super-fast lens: the Nokton 42.5mm f/0.95. Instagram Video launched with movies of up to 15 seconds
Instagram is growing and users want more features. The company has responded to the demands, as well as to Twitter’s Vine threat, by announcing that Instagrammers can now upload videos on the social networking platform. Users will be able to edit videos up to 15-second long using 13 filters and upload them on Instagram.
