Panasonic GF6 to be announced on April 9 at NAB 2013
Panasonic will be present at the National Association of Broadcaster Show 2013 in order to announce the brand new Lumix DMC-GF6. The mirrorless camera has just passed certification in Taiwan. It seems like the Micro Four Thirds System will replace the aging Lumix DMC-GF5 during a special press event in Las Vegas on April 9, 2013.
Desktop users can now upload full-resolution photos on Google+
In December 2012, Google has begun allowing Android and iOS users to upload full-size photos on Google+. This functionality has been extended to desktop browser users as well, who will be able to upload photos bigger than 2048 pixels and videos longer than 15 minutes, putting their free 5GB Drive storage to good use.

Adobe has officially released the final versions of Lightroom 4.4 and Camera Raw 7.4. The latest versions of these programs are bringing RAW file support for 25 cameras from Nikon, Canon and others. The New York Times newspaper has been attacked by some angry photojournalists for using an Instagrammed portrait on its front page. The edition of the newspaper has been published on Sunday and it featured Alex Rodriguez on its cover. However, photographers were annoyed because the photo was taken with an iPhone.

New Nikon D600 and D800 firmware updates released for download
Nikon has decided to release a couple of firmware updates for two of its cameras, the D600 and the D800. D600 owners hoping to have the dust accumulation problems fixed will have to wait, as these two DSLR cameras will now support the expensive AF-S Nikkor 800mm f/5.6E telephoto lens, while having some of their bugs fixed.
