The big announcements have already started! This is natural as Photokina 2014 is only a few days away. However, the rumors are not stopping either. In the meantime, the Nikon D750 price has appeared on the web and this information has been accompanied by a more detailed specs list, pointing at an exciting camera.
Canon EF 24-105mm f/3.5-5.6 and 400mm f/4 DO lenses leaked
Canon is on the verge of announcing multiple new products, including lenses and cameras. Ahead of the Photokina 2014 event, the Canon EF 24-105mm f/3.5-5.6 IS STM and EF 400mm f/4 DO IS USM II lenses have showed up online. Their photos have also been joined by their specifications, signalling an imminent launch event.
Panasonic 35-100mm f/3.5-5.6 lens coming to Photokina 2014
Panasonic will reveal at least two new Micro Four Thirds lenses at Photokina 2014, as well as at least three new cameras. Ahead of this event, inside sources have leaked more details about the products. It appears that the company’s agenda includes a Panasonic 35-100mm f/3.5-5.6 lens and a superzoom compact camera replacement.
Ricoh WG-M1 action camera can go underwater without a case
Ricoh has decided to make a move into the action camera market. The company has used its experience with rugged cameras in order to develop the Ricoh WG-M1. The new action camera comes with built-in WiFi as well as the ability to dive underwater without an extra case. This affordable action cam will be released in October.
Fujifilm X100T premium compact camera unveiled
After months of rumors and speculation, the Fujifilm X100T high-end compact camera has been revealed. The new premium shooter may be packing the same sensor and lens as its predecessor, but there are numerous and very important improvements in almost all other areas. Fuji will release the X100T this fall for a price around $1,300.
Fujifilm launches Fujinon XF 56mm f/1.2 R APD superbokeh lens
Once again, the rumor mill has been right! Fujifilm has indeed revealed a lens, which has been specially designed for providing beautiful bokeh. The brand new Fujinon XF 56mm f/1.2 R APD lens has arrived with an apodization filter to smooth the bokeh, as well as autofocus support to allow users to save time during photo shoots.
Fujifilm X-T1 Graphite Silver announced with new update
Fujifilm has announced a new version of the X-T1 mirrorless camera. The Fujifilm X-T1 Graphite Silver edition is now official with a few improvements over the Black version. However, a firmware update, on track for a December 2014 release date, will bring all these features and many others to the Black model of the Fujifilm X-T1.
Fujifilm XF 50-140mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR lens becomes official
Fujifilm has unveiled its second lens of the day, which is also the second weather-resistant optic aimed at X-mount mirrorless cameras. The brand new Fujifilm XF 50-140mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR lens comes with world’s first Triple Linear Motor for autofocus and a special gyro-based optical image stabilization technology.
Samyang 12mm f/2.8 ED AS NCS fisheye lens revealed
Following a recent teasing campaign, Samyang has announced a new wide-angle lens. This optic has been designed for full frame cameras, but it is aimed at photographers, instead of videographers, as the company’s recent products. The Samyang 12mm f/2.8 ED AS NCS fisheye lens promises to offer a high image quality.

Panasonic LX100 specs list to include 24-75mm zoom lens
Panasonic will reportedly introduce a premium compact camera with a Micro Four Thirds sensor on September 15. Ahead of the device’s official announcement event, a rather scarce, but much-needed, Panasonic LX100 specs list has appeared online. The shooter is believed to feature a 24-75mm zoom lens and 4K video recording.
