Pentax K-70 DSLR and 55-300mm f/4.5-6.3 lens announced
Following the recent rumors, Ricoh has just unveiled the Pentax K-70 DSLR and the HD Pentax-DA 55-300mm f/4.5-6.3 ED PLM WR RE lens. The camera and the zoom optic have had their specifications and prices confirmed, while the release date details will become official in the second half of this year.

Canon PowerShot SX620 HS compact camera becomes official
Canon has introduced a new superzoom compact camera. It is not the long-rumored 100x zoom unit, but it features a respectable 25x optical zoom lens. The new PowerShot SX620 HS is a minor evolution of the PowerShot SX610 HS, which was revealed at the 2015 edition of the Consumer Electronics Show.
Canon EF-M 28mm f/3.5 Macro IS STM lens revealed
Canon has introduced its first macro lens for EOS M mirrorless cameras. Leica M-D Typ 262 digital rangefinder camera announced
Leica has finally introduced the long-rumored M-D Typ 262 digital rangefinder camera. As revealed by the leaksters, the device does not have a red dot in the front, nor an LCD on the back. Instead, it comes with top and bottom plates made of brass, as well as a quiet shutter in order to get back to the essentials of photography.

DJI Inspire 1 RAW Edition release date and price announced
After months of rumor and speculation, DJI has finally revealed the availability details of the Inspire 1 RAW Edition drone with a built-in Micro Four Thirds camera. The quadcopter and its 4K-ready Zenmuse X5R MFT camera will begin shipping by the end of March 2016 for a price under $6,000.
