As a result, a new Nikon D4 firmware update is available for download. Despite being a minor upgrade, it fixes a major bug which affected the photographers.

Its name is FinePix F900EXR and its Intelligent Hybrid AF system can guarantee an autofocus time of just 0.05 seconds, which is faster than what any other camera on the market can provide.

Nikon D600 oil / dust accumulation issues still persist after being serviced
Nikon released the D600 in September, last year. The camera is aimed at both professional and enthusiast photographers, however, it was discovered to have some oil / dust accumulation issues with its image sensor. Photographer Kyle Clements posted a timelapse video demonstrating that the issues still persist even after having the camera serviced.
Nikon D5200 sensor scores higher DxOMark rating than D3200
DxOMark, the company which is actively testing camera sensors, has given its overall rating for the Nikon D5200, which is higher than the score achieved by the company’s other 24-megapixel shooter, the D3200. This was to be expected as the new shooter is placed one category above its Nikon counterpart.
Kodak-branded Micro Four Thirds camera to be released in Q3 2013
China was witness to a new Kodak-branded camera which was shown off at a press conference in Peking. The new Micro Four Thirds camera is planned for release in late Q3 of 2013. Made by JK Imaging, the new Micro Four Thirds camera is going to have a built in WiFi transmission function.
Pentax announces Efina and K-5 II / K-5 IIs firmware update 1.01
Pentax launched a new digital compact camera for entry-level users called Efina, a shooter which will have serious competition as Sony, Olympus, Samsung, and Panasonic unveiled their line of point-and-shooters at CES 2013. The digital imaging company also announced the availability of firmware update 1.01 for its DSLR cameras, the K-II and K-IIs.
Canon launching new EOS-M body and three lenses soon?
Canon introduced its first mirrorless camera with interchangeable lens in June 2012, in order to compete against other mirrorless camera makers like Nikon. The company is rumored to reveal an EOS-M successor in the coming months, along with three new lenses.

Rollei Powerflex 240 HD superzoom camera announced
Rollei has introduced a new digital camera called Powerflex 240 HD. The new compact superzoom camera will become available in the near future with a 24x optical zoom lens, in order to continue the company’s tradition which began in 1920 thanks to Paul Franke and Reinhold Heidecke.
Fujifilm X100S and X20 listed for pre-order at B&H
Fujifilm announced the X100S and X20 cameras at the Consumer Electronics Show 2013. The former is a high-end retro style compact camera continuing the tradition of the X100, while the latter is a point-and-shoot camera, meant to be a successor to the X10, both being premium X-series shooters.
Toshiba image sensor discovered inside Nikon D5200
The recently-introduced Nikon D5200 was thought to feature an Aptina or Sony image sensor, as seen in previous Nikon-branded cameras. However, Toshiba took everybody by surprise with its copper-based 24.1-megapixel APS-C CMOS sensor, capable of shooting high-quality 1080p videos.
