Duo camera concept splits in half and takes two photos
A design student at the Royal College of Art in London has created an interesting camera concept, called Duo. The device has two parts, kept together by a pair of magnets. When split in half, Duo can capture two photos at the same time, allowing the photographer to capture an image of himself and the subject simultaneously.
Debao SU-800 is better and cheaper than the Nikon version
China can be surprising sometimes and this is one of those days. A Chinese company, named Debao, has released a pair of Speedlite transmitters for Nikon and Canon cameras. The great part about the SU-800 and ST-E2 is that they have more features than the original versions and they are a lot cheaper.
Canon C100 firmware update 1.0.1.1.00 released for download
Canon has released a new minor firmware update for its popular EOS C100 cinema camera. The device is now upgradeable to version 1.0.1.1.00, in order to fix a couple of issues troubling the users. The first change refers to using AF continuous with the EF-S 18-135mm lens, while the other is about the XLR terminal polarity.

Sony RX1R camera announced without anti-aliasing filter
Sony has officially launched a new version of the RX1 full frame compact camera and called it RX1R. The new device is virtually identical to its predecessor, with the exception of an anti-aliasing filter. Sony’s RX1R will capture significantly sharper photos thanks to the lack of an AA filter, when it becomes available later this summer.
