This new shooter will be the first of its kind to feature an electronic shutter instead of a mechanical one. Apparently, the camera will become official this October.
Sony FE 28-70mm f/4 lens launching as the kit optic for the NEX-9

The D600 replacement will be announced on October 7 or 8, while the new Pentax-branded DSLR camera will become official on the latter date. It appears that Ricoh will hold an event in Japan, where a new DA lens might become official, too.
