Olympus 25mm f/1.8 lens announcement coming in early 2014
Micro Four Thirds adopters will have reasons to be joyful at the beginning of 2014. Inside sources are reporting that the Olympus 25mm f/1.8 lens will be unveiled officially in January or February to compete against the Panasonic 20mm f/1.7 and the Leica 25mm f/1.4. Additionally, the company is working on an entry-level OM-D camera.
Sigma SD1 Merrill replacement rumored to be released in 2015
Sigma is working on two new cameras that will be released in the following months. One of them is a mirrorless interchangeable lens shooter and should become available in 2014. The second model is very likely the SD1 Merrill replacement and will have a new Foveon sensor, but its release date has been scheduled for 2015.
Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L II lens release date scheduled for 2014
