Week 7 came and went in a flash, it seems! I’ve sat here tonight, browsing through the photos submitted for this week’s theme and I’m truly overwhelmed. So many wonderful photos, so many powerful expressions – it’s humbling. I have giggled, I have cried and most of all, I have been inspired. I’m so glad to have had these few hours to browse through each photo.

The capture dates for Week 8 are 2/19-2/26/11, but Week 7 photos may still be submitted until 2/20/11. Week 8 will surely be wonderful – the theme is “The View From Here”.
My kitchen window, captured from my favorite seat on the kitchen counter. Our family plays catch up in the kitchen, usually while the sun is setting – so this is truly “the view from here”. 🙂
Can’t wait to see what the world looks like from where you are!
The week’s featured photos were compiled by Kristin Snyder. She’s a mom to three, and she and her husband are Snyders Photography {Website – Facebook}, based in northeast Georgia, USA. She has a BFA in photography from MassArt and an MA as well. Loves: Nikon, chocolate, shooting 1.8, the smell of the ocean and time with her family.

I’m so glad you picked the lock one. That one was pure genius!! lol I love that everyone is really thinking outside the box with these 🙂 Challenge that inner creativity!!
Awesome! Hey, I was trying to look at the photographer’s other work, and about 6 of the links don’t work.?
It would be helpful if the theme for the current week was restated before posting the pictures. I only check in occasionally, so I don’t always remember the current theme off the top of my head. Yes, you can mostly figure it out through the captions and notes, but how about stating it again right up front?
Oh my gosh! I’m thrilled my old wedding dress was featured! Congratulations to all the other featured photos, they are amazing!
Great shots everyone. But I have to say how much I LOVE Helen Green’s photo. So creative and inventive! I love the set up, the light and the edit/texture is gorgeous! I love everything about that shot and it actually made me smile big and comment out loud! Ha! Great job Helen! If this were PW’s contest, you’d get my vote. All the others are great too. That one just stuck out to me! 🙂
This idea is so neat….. looking forward to joining in ! Cheers…. Ewa Nowicka
This is a neat idea, looking forward to shooting pictures 🙂 Great photographs everyone! Cheers… Ewa
I found the issue with the links. There is a colon missing between the http and the double slash. Could this be corrected in the post?
Just added a link to your blog on my Photography page. Don’t have a blog myself, so this is the best I could do. I will add a banner if I ever get a blog.
I really had fun with this, thanks for selecting my photo for the blog, and thanks for the great comments.
