Here is a great time saving trick to use in Lightroom if you love the look of rounded corners for your photographs.
Go to POST CROP. Then change settings to:
Amount = +100
Midpoint = 0
Roundness = -100
Feather = 0
The results are shown here. Play around with the midpoint and roundness to change the look.
Here is result changing Roundness to -79. Have fun rounding your corners too!!!

Awesome! Thanks for sharing!!!
Brilliant! I love rounded corners sometimes, and this is so darn easy when compared to Photoshop method.
Thanks so much! Never thought of this – you are so smart!
Love it! Keep the lightroom tutorials coming!
Awesome!
You are brilliant! That is so cool. I wish the background was black. My BG is black on my blog. That is so neat though!
Thanks Jodi! Can you make rounded corners in PS CS4?
Yes – you can. This way is just way easier. With CS4 it is more complex – and more time consuming.
@michelle chandler – you can make the background black, just put the amount slider at -100 instead of 100.
so, i was looking forward to putting this to use – but then i noticed that i do not have the “post crop” in my vignettes location like you show on this link. am i missing something?? help!
Do you have LR 1 or 2? I use 2. I use to have 1 but it is no longer on my computer – so I cannot tell if it would work on that.
There’s no post-crop vignette in LR 1.
Can you define the color of the edges, other than black or white?
Yes, wondering if I can make the corners transparent so I can overlap photos in a collage. Is this possible in Lightroom 3?
Thanks so much for this quick tip!
Is there a way to make this kind of template in the print module vs. doing it to each photo in develop?
