For those MCP readers who have infants and toddlers, you know how challenging it can be photographing a child that crawls fast and is on the verge of walking. My twins are now 8, so it had been a while since having this as a task. When I was visiting family in Atlanta, I had the opportunity to photograph my 1 year old nephew, and I just did a guest post on The Pioneer Woman’s Website, showing some of the details. I hope insight into my experiences is helpful to you.

I read it on the website 🙂 Love the article!
It is really difficult to shoot crawling kids! :b My daughter turns one in february. :b
i love the process post…and i feel like i don’t get great shots every time, but it’s good to see i’m not the only one! thanks! and of course, i love the edit;
Great new blog! I think it’s a lot easier to navigate (imo)!
love the new blog!!!!! This post gave me a good chuckle. One year olds are challenging – until they first start learning to walk, then they are so new at it, and slow that you can often get a good shot. Right before that, they are such experienced cruisers it is nearly impossible.
Great article – it really is hard to capture the crawlers!!
Thank you for the article. I appreciate it. You have a very nice website.
