New Panasonic GX7 photos and specs have been leaked on the web, revealing whatever secrets were left for us to discover ahead of the camera’s announcement.
Panasonic has not been actively working on methods to keep the Lumix GX7 a secret. The upcoming Micro Four Thirds camera has been leaked many times and photos as well as detailed specs have started showing up recently.

The front of the Panasonic GX7 shows that the camera is a true successor to the GX1.
New Lumix GX7 specs and photos leaked ahead of Panasonic’s announcement
A new set of Lumix GX7 photos and specs have just been leaked online. The novel details confirm previous rumors regarding the GX1 replacement and serve as testimony that Panasonic is ready to announce the shooter.
The forthcoming Micro Four Thirds system will feature a 16-megapixel Digital Live MOS image sensor, ISO up to 25,600, maximum shutter speed of 1/8000th of a second, built-in optical image stabilization, Focus Peaking technology, NFC, and WiFi.
Users will be able to connect to a smartphone or tablet via WiFi, in order to back up photos and videos. Additionally, the mobile devices could be used to remotely control the exposure settings of the camera.

The Panasonic GX7 back will be the home of a tilting LCD screen and most of the camera’s navigation buttons.
Dream MFT camera to feature built-in tilting viewfinder and LCD screen
Panasonic GX7 will have to live up to very high expectations. The camera has been referred to as the “dream system” for Micro Four Thirds adopters, as it will feature an integrated tiltable electronic viewfinder among others.
Sources say that the EVF will feature a 2.76 million-dot resolution and that it will be tiltable upwards by 90 degrees. A built-in flash will also be there, while the 3-inch 1.04 million-dot LCD screen will also be tiltable by 80 degrees.
The Lumix GX7 will be based on a magnesium alloy body with lots of buttons and dials. Furthermore, the software will include up to 22 Creative Scene modes, such as Panorama. A Silent mode will be there, too, and should reduce operation noises.

Panasonic GX7 top dials will allow photographers to control the exposure settings with ease.
Panasonic to sell Lumix GX7 in Europe for €999
The next Panasonic MFT system will be capable of recording full HD videos at 60 frames per second. All of these features are rumored to come in a body priced at €999 in Europe. Price details for people living outside the Old Continent remain unknown.
The Lumix GX7 will be officially announced by the end of August and its release date has been scheduled for late September or early October. Meanwhile, the Panasonic GX1 is available for $299.99 at Amazon.

Panasonic GX7 tilting viewfinder will allow photographers to capture photos from awkward positions.
