Water water everywhere, well all over our MCP P52 Flickr group at least! Looks like everyone had a lot of fun with this theme, it makes me so happy when I see our themes inspire you to take out your camera and shoot. There was so much variety I struggled this week just to choose 10 photos, I really wish I had room to put them all on the blog.
Before I show you the Top 10 photos for week 47 I am just going to mention the thing all us MCP Project 52 members are trying to ignore – we only have a few weeks left until the end of the year and that means the end of MCP P52 for 2011. Now we couldn’t let this milestone go unmarked so please keep an eye on the discussion bit of the Flickr group for a little announcement about how we plan to make the last 2 weeks of the P52 slightly different and even more fun. And as for what 2012 might bring, well you’ll just have to wait and see!
Here are our favourite photos taken by our MCP P52 members this week, if you like the photos why not click on them and leave the photographer some love.

Now onto Week 48 where our theme for the week is “Twinkle Twinkle”, week 48 starts now and runs until Friday 2nd December. Since Thanksgiving has now passed we can begin to look forward to that next big holiday celebration Christmas and for me twinkling lights are a big part of the holiday season. Our MCP P52 members are a kind lot and often they share just how they captured their shot, I find these tips and tricks so helpful and in tribute to that spirit of sharing my photo today comes with a little tutorial on how I took it.
Getting this heart shaped bokeh using Christmas tree lights is really easy and fun – I did it the cheat’s way and my little tutorial is here.
This is just one interpretation of the theme, I look forward to seeing what people shoot this week.
This week’s blog post was brought to you by Rebecca Spencer {blog} Rebecca is a passionate hobbyist who plans to leave the business side of photography to the professionals and just enjoy being a Mum with a camera, albeit a very good camera that she’s learning to use quite well! Why not pop over to her blog where she writes about her love for photography and say hello?
