Here’s a beach photo edit from a recent Senior session – but as you can imagine – this shot would work great for an engagement or couples session too.
Here is my original shot – raw and with Canon 6D. The two seniors were supposed to be playing in the water, but I think they really like one another (smile)!! And I fell in love with this spontaneous moment!
Here’s the final image after editing:
My steps to achieve this edit:
- First I removed the log in the water. You can do this using the clone tool in Lightroom or Photoshop.
Then a super simple edit:
- Ran MCP One Click Color (from MCP Fusion Photoshop actions) at 40%
- Ran MCP Magic Markers (also from Fusion) ran twice at 100% opacity, flow and default brought up to 100% for just the sky.
- Ran the Free MCP Touch of Light and Darkness: Touch of Light ran at 19% opacity on her face and his.
And I was done! Beach Photos are among my favorite shoots!
