Travel Photography: Habana, Cuba – The Rest

Travel Photography: Habana, Cuba – The Rest

Of course it’s more than just poverty. How about those 50’s car that you can use as taxi all over the city?

This was too good of a setup not too shoot. I went low with a wide angle and …

And no matter how old the car is, they always make sure it shines.

There’s another thing that Cuba is famous for and it’s the beaches. They are some of the most wonderful one in the world. The closest beach to Habana is about 30 minutes’ drive and the only morning I decided to go a storm was approaching.

The architecture is a bit of a mix/mess. There is one building that stands out from the mass, it’s called the Capitol. Yes, just like the one in Washington except for the condition.

If you’re into buildings you can’t miss the church. They are incredibly amazing. But most importantly they will let you in with a tripod anytime.

No matter why you go to Habana, just keep in mind that it’s La Vida Loca over there.

This was forwarded to me by my daughter…excellent work captioning the “truth”. Buildings collapsing all around, roads with holes, water can only run for several hours since all the potholes get filled with water. I was there in 2001 and it looks worse. I tried to explain to people that it looked like a bob had hit……shame…..no relations untill it becomes the 51st star of the United States…sorry for the people
