On Monday we started our first editing challenge of the year. We give you the image to download and you edit and share your results. Plus you can see how others edit the same image and learn what steps or actions/presets they used. If you have an idea on how you’d edit the horse image below, or want to learn details on these and other edits, make sure to join the group HERE.
Thank you to Irene McDermott for allowing us to use her photo. The current challenges are linked at the top of the group. You can also ask for critique on your edit.
Several of members of the group have shared great edits. Here are a few of the many favorites:

Thank you to everyone who participated; we enjoyed seeing your take on the challenge. Didn’t get a chance to edit this week? You still have an additional week to participate! Add your version of the photo to the MCP Shoot Me Facebook Group album and you may be featured here.
This week the MCP Shoot Me Facebook Group Photography Challenge continued with the search for natural light. As the days get longer and we head toward Spring, this may have been easier for some of you, while others may have been clamoring for a bit of sunshine (I saw a lot of rain in the forecast)! We were stunned by the beautiful photos added to the photo album this week; so many lovely shots, full of light and shadow. Here are a few favorite additions to this week’s album:
