Pentax K-50 DSLR shows up again, but this time in Japan
Although most Pentax K-50 details are known, the camera has been leaked once again, but this time in Japan. The DSLR will be announced shortly, sources say, and its release date has been scheduled for July 5 in the Asian country.
The Pentax K-50 will become available in three body colors, namely Black, Pink, and White. However, there will be six colors available for the grip and customers will be able to customize the DSLR in any way they want.
Pentax Q7 camera with 1/1.7 sensor makes surprise appearance
Another camera which has showed up online is the Pentax Q7. The mirrorless shooter will feature a large 1/1.7-inch image sensor and its body will be available in three colors, though they are slightly different from the K-50 ones, since the list includes Black, Silver, and Yellow. Additionally, six colors are said to be available for the grip, so the Q7 will be customizable, too.
Pentax Q7 has the same release date in Japan as the K-50. On July 5 these two shooters will be released, though pricing information remains unknown for the time being.
Pentax 11.5mm f/9 pinhole lens and body cap leaked, too
Pentax is rumored to release several lenses for this camera. One of them is called 02 Standard Zoom, another one will go by the name of 01 Standard Prime.
Moreover, a special optic will be available as a body cap. It will be called 07 Mount Shield Lens and its image has been leaked on the web. It consists of a 11.5mm f/9 pinhole lens, which measures only 6.9mm.
All these new products are rumored to appear on store shelves as of July 5 in Japan, while other markets will get them around the same date.
