Brandon Cawood is a talented photographer who has created a series of portrait photos, called “Not All Wear Capes”, revealing that superheroes are actually real and they continue to save lives on a daily basis.

Recently, we have showed you a post consisting of photos depicting superheroes, such as Batman, Superman, and Iron Man, catching a break and trying to find themselves in “The Quest for the Absolute”.

Photographer Benoit Lapray has showed us what superheroes would do if they were real. However, we might have misunderstood the whole deal because superheroes are actually real. They are the paramedics, firemen, police officers, and other people who rush to the rescue of those in need.

In order to pay a tribute to the real heroes, photographer Brandon Cawood has compiled the “Not All Wear Capes” photo project.

“Not All Wear Capes” dramatic portrait photos remind us that superheroes are real

They may look like action-movie shots, but photographer Brandon Cawood is a creative person and he is specialized in dramatic portraits.

There are lots of people who put themselves in danger in order to save others. Brandon’s photos may appear dramatic, but they are trying to show what policemen, firemen, and paramedics go through when responding to a call.

A firefighter is shown grabbing the hand of a person while a house is burning down. Additionally, a diver is seen coming to the rescue of someone who is trapped underwater, while a police officer is arresting a criminal.

In one photo, paramedics are comforting a young girl and getting her ready to be taken to the hospital. As you have probably noticed by now, the title of the series reminds us that not all heroes wear capes.

Nevertheless, we should not forget about the people who respond to the 911 calls. The photographer has also captured a photo of the people who direct the firemen, paramedics, and police officers to the places where they are needed.
